I have been reading other posts about this code and the different things done to clear it.
I will go back and give those suggestions a shot.
Customer claims this machine sat for about 6 months. They asked me to stop by and add toner
and check it out.
What I got was an E00020-0460 code and 04b0 code both referring to the concentration in the black
drum unit. I did check the shutter on the drum and I can open it. The shutter on the salt sensor assy
is also working. I cleaned the sensors on the salt assy.
I pulled the tranfer belt and saw a faint image in black, (as I was asking for a black copy).
But it was very faint as if it had been transferred already.
Consumable screen shows all new or low count drums and toners are full or half full.
Here is Phoenix, Az we don't worry about condensation very much this time of year. It's the dust
that causes the most problems. This machine is located inside a building down the hall in a room.
No doors or windows to the outside.
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks
