[Misc] Web Cleaning Message won't clear - Imagepress C1

I have a C1 and my web cleaning roller ran out, so I replaced it with a partial roll that I had acquired with a bunch of parts. The web is properly threaded between the plastic detector feelers, and when the web assembly is installed, the sensor is not being blocked. There is nothing stuck in the sensor that would be giving it a false reading.

    I have cleared the counter: COPIER > COUNTER > DRBL-1 > FX-WEB

The web I installed is about half consumed, but it still thinks the web is low, and it gives me the E005 error code after the 3000th copy and shuts down. I can clear the code and it is good for another 3000 copies!

Any ideas what to try next? There must be something I missed, as it was working fine before the web ran out.

    reset both counters

In case of replacing web, reset both in the following:
    COPIER > COUNTER > MISC > FIX-WEB,
    COPIER > COUNTER >DRBL-1 > FX-WEB

When I replaced the web, I also looked under COPIER > COUNTER > MISC and there was no FIX-WEB option listed. I figured that was the issue, but it is just not there.

I'm having E005-0001 in one printer in the start and can't print.

I'v already changed spare parts to find the solution even changed the entire Fusion Module and changed de drawer that have the fusion fixed, cleared software counters.

I'm starting to look for poltergeists here. hehe

(Sory for my poor english, I write only here in this forum...)

          Anyone can help-me?

Check the drawer connector for bent flat pins >>> will cause poor contact

Replace the drawer connector located in fig.320 Fixing Feeder Assembly, item number 24:

            FM2-2622-000 Cable Drawer 2

              Hi,

Here is what is mentioned in the SM:

1- E005-0000 Error in absence of the fixing web: after the fixing web level sensor has detected the absence of the web, the count exceeded 3000.

2- E005-0001 Open circuit error of the fixing web drive solenoid.

              Reset in service mode: COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR

Re: Web Cleaning Message won't clear - Imagepress C1

Going back last year to my original post, I did not have the web length detector arm set properly. I put the cleaning web BETWEEN the "feelers", but it should have been placed so BOTH feelers were on the same side of the web. No more false message that the web needs replacement. (It was only half consumed.)

the following hint has reminded in the service manual with following attachment:
                    - Make sure to mount the fixing cleaning web to follow the orientation
                    shown in the figure.
                    - Make sure to make the mutual positions of the fixing cleaning web [1] and
the web length detection arm [2] as in the figure.
                    - Make sure not to make slack of the fixing cleaning web.

You can also deactivate the sensor and manually observe the length. Fewer parts, less possibilities to get in the way.

Here was a machine having this 0005 problem.
I replaced all the suggested pieces with parts that I have in stock or other machines, without solution.

Now the machine is not booting. Black screen and green led.
