I have a Canon Imageclass MF6550 that faxes out maybe one or two good pages and the rest blanks through the ADF. Same with copies. If I press multiple copies with one page it is fine and printing is fine as well, so it couldn't be the laser shutter which I saw on this awesome forum. I watched the exposure lamp was on during all the scans. Any ideas?

Duplex works fine just not one sided through the adf, just got service manual so will test adf sensors. I was going to replace CIS but since duplex works.... -

Try this first. CIS is either good or bad.

Is the ADF one-pass-duplex ? If so, it could be 1 of either scanunits thats failing. A faulty cable is also a good option, as nmfaxman suggested:JohanComment

The ADF flips it over twice on duplexing. Multi pages duplex works so the sensors and CIS should be good. I have seen same issue online but without solutions. I propped open the shutter and still same thing. Still stumped. Will try CIS cable.Comment
