I think ive found the cause of the problem, yesterday after taking the fixing unit apart i noticed a small piece of black plastic caught in all the web.

Its a piece of the web roller feeding flag, does anyone have the part number? its the piece circled in red in the attached image, i cant find it in the service manual i have.

Is there a way to check that motor in service mode? we'll be going to ser4vice it tomorrow afternoon, we got a new web roller, heat roller.

So, this machine has torn apart 2 web rollers in less than 2 months, the first one i replaced was like 2 meters deep between the heat and pressure rollers completely torn apart, i replaced it anc cleaned all the mess and it worked just fine for 7 weeks.

Last saturday client reported it was jamming a lot until it eventually stopped printing, oone of my collegues went to service it and the web roller is in 2 pieces again (attached picture), this isnt normal obviously, do you guys have any idea on what should i check for damage or normal wear?

From what i remember, the pressure and heat rollers were all oily, like a LOT but i didnt clean it since i thought this was just normal, my guess is the heat roller needs replacement because i remember it having a toner "stain" i could not remove the first time i serviced this machine and i thought the web roller will take care of it, now im not sure about what should i check first.

Any hint appreciated.

Usually, that happens when web motor its not working.

sounds like the web advance mech isn't working properly.. had this problem with some of the Savin Copiers... found the little motor for the gears was flakey.
