    New Canon ir5050 will not print

    I'm a customer and just purchased a Canon IR5050 from our local dealer. The copy works, the scan works, but the printing does not. I've installed all three drivers (PS, PCL, UFR II) on a single pc on the network. The device is pingble and can be administered from the web UI. I don't have any printing ip range restrictions. I have RAW and LPD both on. When i do a port scan on the device however, all that i'm able to see is port 80 (web interface) and port 25 (SMTP) After i installed the drivers from the pc i'm able to see the printer propterties and settings, but when a job it sent, it just sits in the local pc spooler.

    I did a re-init from the control panel. same results. Is this something that needs to be activated with a licence key? My dealer didn't seam very knowledgable. He sent his tech guy and he coudln't figure it out. I called canon but they said i had to talk to my dealer or hire another one. I've already spent more than my salary to purchase this machine, not ready to to to another dealer to service this unit.
