    Picking up a preowned IR Advanced C7260

    Hi guys
    tomorrow i have to go with a client to pick up a pre owned IRC7260 and a IRC 5051i

    any tips what to look for? other then the counter and print out check?

    Mmmmmm interesting question!
    I am no expert on Canon but maybe look at fuser % on 7260 exspensive to replace, here anyway.

    Its a bit like buying a second hand car, until you use it for a while you wont know what it needs doing to!

    Check error codes for repeated but not fixed problems.

      7260 is a great machine in my opinion...fuser is substantially cheaper and quicker to replace than the old C7065 series.

      I have plenty of these with well over 1 million - no real issues with them other than regular maintenance.

      Like suggested, maybe turn it on and check the counters in service.

      Check C5051 for e075 codes at the very least, might need the ITB retrofitted if you're going to use it for a while.
