Canon IR3570 Hard Disk Problem Error E602-0001

Hi friends
i'm using Canon IR 3570 for several years, running good till now.
now i am having problem
my machine does not bootup it shows Error code E602-0001 i have searched the net but cant find a proper solution
error arises immediately i start up the machine, after showing the name canon on the display.
please can anybody help me.

HDD crashed, you need a new hard drive and software for copier.

Yes HDD has failed, copier is not booting.

You can pick up a cheap used HDD on eBay, just ensure you get an identical one.

However try this, power off the machine (main switch on side) turn it back on while holding down numbers 1&9 keep held down untill you see a white box, this will run an HDD scandisk type repair, it takes around an hour. Worth a try!

I am having a 40GB hard disk
is it compatible with 3570
can anybody share the firmware / software for 3570
i'm having the SST

Download Mode is fine that shows it has completed, now power off/on any luck?

40GB will not work. Canon only allow a certain few HDD models, this is why I said buy an identical one!

i kept the machine on for nearly 5 hours
but it was still stuck there
i have attached a working 20GB harddisk
even then it is not working

i am having SST and i also Have installed firmware of IR3300 on a IR3300 machine successfully

but now i need firmware of IR3570, can anybody provide the link to download ??

yes, i'v restarted the machine but no change in the error

step by step process about what i have done

1. disconnected main power of the machine
2. pressed and holded 1 & 9 button.
3. power on and started the machine (still holding the 1 & 9 buttons)
4. directly this screen is displayed
5. even waiting for some time this screen does not changes
6. after i restart the machine the error still exists

Replaced the hard disk but still it shows the same error

After you replace the HDD you will need to instal the system software

Hi,

Are you using a New genuine Canon issue HDD, they are partitioned in a specific way and formatted specifically for their software, you cant use a normal HDD, the firmware will not install as it will not be able to find THE specific partitions it needs.
