I have a huge accounting problem. We are a consulting firm and charge prints related to projects to our clients.
We have each project number set up as a department ID so we can log prints/copies/scans.
However, for some reason, it refuses to log Dept ID's for documents printed from MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). When you check the print log on the copier it will show the job as being from Dept: ------. And when you go to dept id manager and print out a log, those prints will fall under a blank dept id.
The problem only exists when printing from MS Office... When we print from Adobe (pdf, photoshop, illustrator etc) it will log it fine, and dept id will show up under print log.
We have a iR 5058 with no problems at all..
