    airprint password required for "canon ir-adv c5250/5255"

    Hi,

    testing airprint for this model and it's asking for a username & password.
    dept ID is not enabled and i'm trying it on random photos.

    any ideas?

    You're probably printing with Wireless Direct with security to ON. Turn security off.
    Are you on the same network?

      You might have SSL setting turned ON, check the settings in this document.

        Thanks for this solution, this solves the username/password issue.

        a few more airprint problems:

        1) after sending the document to print (via airprint) the document will only be stuck under "processing".
        printing from computers, and or the canon print app have no issues and documents prints out fine.

        2) updated 2 of our c5250 firmware online and the airprint functions suddenly dissappears. I have attached the
        p-print of one of the machines to see if its a software issue or do i have to enable airprint function in the service mode?

          You didn't update the firmware it is back dated. You installed V12.12 which was probably the factory version. You need to update to the latest version to get AirPrint back on it.

              Thank you for your Post! I had this issue on a Konica Minolta and was pulling out my hair trying to figure out why this was happening. I even had Konica Minolta Tech support level 3 on it scratching their heads.

              If anyone interested on the setting on Konica Minolta Copier it is
              Administrator settings/Network Settings/HTTP Server Settings/ IPP Authentication Set
