    Internal finisher J1 removal

Customer is having issues with a stacker position error on an old 3300i Imagerunner that has the internal J1 finisher. Rather then beating the dead horse (they don't staple anyway) we were going to remove the finisher and just run it without. Tech said that after removing the finisher the paper stops every time just past the fuser with a delivery sensor delay jam. It's been a very long time since I was in front of one of these and can not remember if a cover and/or sensor board needs reinstalled into the machine once the internal finisher is removed perhaps? Or is there just an obvious step we're missing?

    Thanks
    Chris

    Disregard,

Found a removal video and it shows the delivery section which is part of the install of the finisher. The replacement of the internal plastic guide and door would need to be put back in to complete the paper path and eliminate any need for sensors.

Apparently just typing out the problem was enough to engage the old brain at the end of the day lol.
