besides firmware will not do it... change the MAIN BOARD and NVRAM

why do you want to reset counter? to sell it as a new unit? THAT IS ALSO ILLEGAL...

easy, on DC controller J115, cut the red wire and the yellow wire, then connect the red to the yellow and that resets counters

In the movies, you always have to cut the BLUE wire!

nice how some techs are willing to give aid on things that get you thrown in jail!

when you cut the wires make sure the machine is powered on!

That is still considered fraud in most countries. Jail time can vary.

                        have you:
                        replaced ALL consumables?
                        rebuilt/replaced all feed/sensors/transport/exit/adf assemblies?
                        thoroughly clean ALL covers/metal/plastic parts?

                        (nope I guarantee you haven't_

if you haven't you are running a scam!

                        here's a better way....
Do the major parts of my questions. supplies=pm parts=feed/transport rollers

leave the counters alone (you'll mess up PM cycles)
take a start page/usage pages.. note counts on rental contract (you do have one )
deliver it .. telling customer what has been done to cover past page counts to bring it up to rental standards.
set the supply/PM notices to come to your company.
do the damn PM's on time and do not HALF ASS the PM's.

you look like a more honest service group
and word of MOUTH is the BEST/worse advertisement you can ever have.

Be straight with people .. or it could come back around and bite your ASS OFF! ( I worked for a FUCKER like you seem to be.. he was only in business for 5 years.. still has 5 years in FEDERAL prison for fucking over the NCAG on a "Compaq Server" that had ALL clone parts in it!) *not even the RAM he used was Compaq*

but be the shit you want to be.. but do not expect any more help/advise from me ..ever.. but you can expect more red cards from me if I see you asking these same type help in the future!

hello, what you should do is change the NV RAM. This sets the counter to zero. The firmware only updates the device. If you rent the equipment it is obvious that it has a previous use and deals with the client. If you want to pass the equipment as new, it is fraud. rent new equipment
