Canon C5235I dont boot up

    [Dead] Canon C5235I dont boot up

    Hello i buy a Canon C5235I start it make a copy and works fine.
    i logged in admin mode to change ip to DHCP nothing else
    i reboot the machine and nothing...
    ventilation is on the right green light is on the light of the sleep mode button is on the screen is off
    i tryed to mount the HDD on my windows : he is not recognized
    any idea ?

    help please

      hello it could be a problem of: Main Controller PCB 1, Relay PCB, All-night Power Supply PCB, power supply

          Send photo or video of the problem, I would recommend that you call the technical service that sold the printer

              You took out the HDD & plunged it into a PC & it is not recognized? sound like a faulty HDD.

              Fit the drive back & reflash the firmware.

                  it works ! i don't know how... i let it switched on long long time and it turns in sleep mode. i wake it up 2 times and after it seems to work fine.

                  just one probleme windows don't detect thrue the network i have to write the IP

                      Common problem after clearing memory in service mode, and only on the 5235's, not the 5240's, 5250's, 5255's, just 5235's, ???, has happened to me several times this year already. You can leave em on overnight, come back and it will be on! Shut if off, no power, just the green print button, shut off and on several times and BAM! on again, then again sometimes they will never come back on, dead screen, fan running, and like I said, out of the blue it will turn on and they will run like nothing is wrong. Have learned to stay away from that model, and only that model. Leave em on, plugged in and when they go into energy save mode, they will not come on, just that model. We dont resell them anymore.
