    [Jamming] Ir2530 Duplex Jamming Code 010D

    Hi All

    I have a problem with a Canon iR2530 jamming on duplex. The error log states 010D, 0101 and 0108 but what happens is very strange. The paper will go back into the machine from 2 way unit to print 2nd side but the page will get stuck in the door and the machine will not display jam immediately. The machine will just run for about 2 mins and then display jam. I have never seen this. I have upgraded firmware but to no avail. Any ideas guys?

    check sensor actuator if out of position, duplex clutch may also be faulty.

      Try replace Duplex Clutch

        Hi Guys

        I have resolved the issue. The issue was related to the use of wrong printer driver. The client previously used a Ricoh device. I realized the issue was stemming from the driver after I ran 200 2 sided copies with no issues. As soon as client printed the machine went into the jam state. I defaulted client to Canon driver, deleted the Ricoh driver and voila, problem solved.

        Hopes this helps othet techs in future.
