Canon IR C5535i - Slow autorization Uniflow Online Express

ULM autorization is immediate. When I change to Uniflow Online Express autorization take about 20 seconds. Account is imported from csv file (user name, pin and group). It's not AD, 365, euaduniflow.onmicrosoft.com or social media account.

20 seconds? wow what a long wait!

did you ever think what other things it has to check in order to init that program?

does it load faster on other like equipped units?

I may be reaching, but make sure DNS is working properly.

Ping the machine, not only by IP address, but its hostname as well.

If DNS fails, it will cause this type of delay.

I once had an account with 4 Ricoh machines and GlobalScan (their scanning product) where the DNS server had issues, and was not properly restored, creating a delay in authentication. It turned out there were no "A Records" for any of the machines. Entering them quickly resolved the issue. When DNS was messed up, I could ping with the IP address, but not by hostname.

            DNS work's ok.

SSW = System Software a Canon term for firmware.

Did you try pinging it by hostname as I suggested?

I'm not trying to be pushy, but I thought my DNS was OK, too...until it bit me in the @ss.

The IT manager I was working with (it was a fairly large law firm) had assured me that it was.

I've made it part of my routine to check this from the jump. But I run NSLOOKUP. I think you taught me that.
