[Misc] IR C5250 Getting "Rainbow effect" on color prints/copies

    Hello,
I have no error codes. I am getting a "rainbow effect" over entire page on color copies/prints.
Appears to be spilling toner onto developer
Developer / drums are covered with moderate dusting of toner (all 4 colors)

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have a sample pic? Can you be a little more descriptive of the symptom? Thanks

Check the waste toner feed screw.

        Sure! Thanks for the reply.

        Prints fine in B/W
prints or copies in color "smear" a "rainbow effect" over entire page.

Toner seems to be "spilled" and scattered over all 4 drums

I have removed and cleaned the ITB and the Cleaning blade
              No change in copy quality

I would replace all drums and adjust gradation. Be sure to perform DPC (drum potential control) under Function in Service mode. If I'm misremembering then the adjustment for new drums might be under Install, under Function in Service Mode.

Has a fairly new canon waste toner bottle. Only 2500 copies since rplaced.
                          Apparently the counter wasnt reset.

Will install a new ITB cleaning blade and see.

                          Thx for the help!

If the black prints are OK it's more likely to be drums as they at the end of there life start there

Simply take out the ITB unit is it covered in toner or clean. If clean this is not the issue.
