[Misc] Would a C5550i main controller fit a C5535i

Hi all,

Quick question as the title says, I have a down IRA C5535i it needs a main controller, now I have a spare IRA C5550i I could take it from.

However the parts manual shows different part numbers for the two boards.

Think you helped answer the question with the two different part numbers. You probably know from working on Canon if its the last three digits you would probably be fine. Any others it is different.

If its in your shop and your brave you could try it but do not think it is worth all the time and effort.

Those are different speeds and components would have to be different.

Hope you can find an inexpensive one with the proper part number.

Sometimes a board or part can have more than one part number but the item is identical.
