isensys MF735Cx

Good day Everyone,

Kindly help me on this problem. I have a Canon isensy mf735cx which after startup shows this message : Cannot connect to the server Contact the system manager and a menu only with preferences and network thats all. (Menu->Preferences->Network)

I am a KonicaMinolta tech but I worked with some older canon models so I know them pretty well



I ve tried evrything in service mode. first I thought it is some ERDS related problem...tried a few things at the end CLEAR ALL didnt help

I am not sure what is the problem (maybe powerloss during firware update or something related)

I fund some firware whic solves some connection problem with ERDS seerver as far as I understand(so as a last try I'd like tofirmware this machine) but The User support tool needs te machine to switch into download mode. I cant there is no menu.

Older canons had some "cold" download mode (not sure how u call it when u start the machin in download mode) and this735 should have some sort of cold download mode but I culdnt find in the service manual (there is a way mentioned in servicemanual(system download/dl force) to firmware from service mode but no luck I am leaking information I guess)

Have you double checked IP addys to and from the server?

Are the lights on NIC card working properly?

Are you logged on as administrator?

So many questions so little info.

Nic works fine
I can reach the web site
I can log in as administrator
No network settings for the server because no need for the server I turned it off (ERDS ->0)

The machine doesnt have menu only network settings...

The solution was pretty simple > Uniflow

Options/ACC/UNIF-OF to 1
