When I attempt to create a new paper profile by copying one of the default color paper profiles it appears that the color profile (ICC) does not copy as the resulting new profile does not print colors correctly regardless of the color profile in the document sent to it.
When I attempt to create a new paper profile from scratch, the printer interface does not offer the option of attaching a color profile (ICC) to the new paper profile.
Reading around on the internet seems to indicate that there is Canon specific software required to upload color profiles (ICC) to the printer.
At this point, I am just using one of the two default color paper profiles regardless of the type of paper I'm printing on. This mostly works, but I am hesitant to try this on very heavy weight papers. It also does not seem to work well on certain coated stock.
Any thoughts?
Chris
