    [Error Code] Canon IPF785 Error 2F47

    Error 2F47
    I am able to print in Service mode and have updated the firmware to Version 1.5 (the latest available) however once restarted normally I am still getting the error 03800500-2F47.
    Help??

      It would probably help to look up that code.

      I would suspect either the head management sensor, or the printhead, or both. =^..^=

      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Do you have access to parts? If so I am happy to order. According to everything I have been able to read, Also the carriage PWB and or main PWB may be suspect. I do not have access to manuals, parts or service so I am flying blind. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

              I suspect that you didn't try very hard to find that service manual. I typed: "Canon IPF 785 service manual" into a Google search window and got 7240 results.

              The same goes with the parts. I typed: "IPF 785 head management sensor" and got: Canon imagePROGRAF iPF750 Head Management Sensor, Genuine (M7266)

              Google can be your friend. First get the manual. =^..^=
