    Canon IR1024

    Morning Engineers.

I have an old Canon IR1024 with download standby message which is a common fault on this model. I had this many years ago and had to send the board away for repair. The fault was fixed when the board returned and after close scrutinising we could not find anything which had been replace, soldered etc so assume it was some sort of reset. I have found various threads on this issue along with short out JP141 but this does not work. Any other ideas would be appreciated as this is an old model and Customer (as usual) does not want to spend much!!!!. I have been in the trade 50 years (semi retired) so very experienced and any help would be appreciated

Firmware update might work. I believe that is a european model because I don't see it listed here in the US. If you can find it that may solve it

You should be able to recover this by reflashing the firmware. Drop me an email should you need it. (website below)
