[Misc] Canon IR c250if - phone doesn't ring on incoming call

Hi everybody!

I have a small (but annoying) issue with my c250if, and I hope you'll be able to assist me with it:

I connected the fax module to the phone line, and the ext port to the telephone (line is used for both calls and faxes).
When an incoming call is received, the phone doesn't ring.

The phone itself functions ok, and I can make calls, or even answer (if I pick the phone us when an incoming call is made).

I guess the default behavior for the fax module is to block the incoming call ring, and I'm wondering if there's a way to change this.

Note that I tried connecting the phone to both the ext and to the handset ports, but the result is the same.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Check the volume settings on the C250, you should get a ring from the machine if the volume is turned up.
