How to turn Canon iR2520 to a wireless printer

    Hello everyone...

My iR2520 printer has RJ-45 and USB ports only. Can I turn this printer to a wireless one? Is there any Wi-Fi card, or something like a JetDirect device for Canon printers?

Thank you in advance for your kind suggestions...

How would you like to print? From PC or smartphone?

Thanks a lot for your reply. The printer is located in the office, where we cant put any ethernet cables from the router/switch to the printer. We are going to print from PCs only. Wi-Fi in this office is already installed and works fine

All you need would be a wireless range extender placed near the machine and connected with one Ethernet cable.

They pretty much all have either 2 or 4 ports available.

All for about $50, at least in the US. No need to buy a more expensive one in this case, unless you’re looking to beef up your wireless range.

That’s how I connected my Brother printer at home. It took about 20 minutes to set up.

Thanks so much! I was looking for the similar solutions and found IOGEAR Ethernet to WiFi GWU637 device on eBay for $25 (used one). I will try it... Hope, it works.

Thanks again for your kind help!

            It's about $ 30 at amazon.com.
Thanks for the info... I will try that one as well. Let's see, which device will perform better...
