Card READER Problem---PLEASE HELP ME!

My sister passed away leaving me an copier called the Canon C300. Its a big old machine. I am trying to install it in my friends business and when I turn it on it says "Insert your Control Card".

Bottom line is I do not have a control card. I have already removed the actual control card reader because that is what some dude from a Canon Authorized Dealer told me to do but the message still comes up when i power up the machine. Is there anyway to make this go away so we can just make copies. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help! Thanks.

When you removed the card reader you need to put a jumper on the wiring connector you unplugged to remove the card reader, I know I still have some if you need one, shoot me a message.

You could just short out pins 2 - 4 to make the loop, that will get you going until the connecter gets to you.
