Whats up everyone, we have a ir 2830 that we are installing for another dealer it has fax sytem and print and scan but when you press the fax , or scan feature it displays [function requires optional equipment on display. Am i missing something or do i have to turn these features on......Thanks i have a feeling i'm missing something simple.

It probably doesn't have the kit installed. The kit comes with a bootrom chip,memory, and a HDD. It needs to be flash when you install the kit.
