Canon np 7161 error 0003

hi my photocopier machine when i switch on it display message error 0003 and went off after some few seconds, i tried to get ride of the error message but i end up at the middle because the code number i had was not enough to clear the error,
here are the combination i have been trying * followed by 2 and 8 at the same time then *again press A- then 412 then on/off.is this correct please correct for me ????

I have never seen an NP7161,,, but can tell you with some certainty that your approach to clearing the error is incorrect. The * 28 * method only works on digital equipment, and all NP copiers that I am aware of are analog.

No I can't tell you how this analog copier gets it's error states cleared. My advice is to contact a Canon trained service company in your country, and have them resolve your issue.
