Have you checked the fax line. Do you have another fax machine so that you can see if its the machine. Are you a user? Check the fax manual that comes with the board under trouble shooting.

Do to ring voltage issues, you can have a machine that is working perfectly not be able to receive faxes. I had this experience with an iR330. I tested with a plain fax machine and had the same issue. Since outbound does not require the machine to note that someone is calling it, it will work o.k. When an inbound fax arrives, the phone line is supposed to "ping" the extension number with a sufficient voltage to let the device know it is being called. I use a fax machine handset, one with the numbers on it, to do most of my diagnostics. In this instance it would not ring.

First make sure you have the tel line plugged in to the correct one. it will send but not receive. Seen that mistake too many times. also be sure it is set to USA mode. Had similar problem it was set to Europe mode. Be sure there is a filter if you are on a DSL line. I would check the line from the wall with just the hand set from any phone, just a little static will cause problem. Good luck

service mode / fax / type - set it to your country, that may not be America

            hiya
I had the same problem at one of my customers
Could Send, but the device would pickup any incoming calls
I tried another device 1st on the line to make sure it was/was not the line, but it was okay, and worked on another device

To fix my problem i replaced the main controller
IF you go down this route, remember to get a network settings print out
            and a P-Print also incase
