I have a problem, because my place is too long with local dealer.
I use HD 40GB, but not part from local dealer.
when I to do HDFormat, in SST answer could not get targetinfo.txt.
do you have other solution for my problem.

Firmware is listed under 2270 under connect-
look in this path on your laptop> u should see a folder IRXXX --in there is th Format folder
C:\Canon File Folder\SST System Software Folder\SST Files\iR2270_v40.03.02
if u don't see it u need to re-register the firmware-
remember on this series> the SST MUST SEE YOUR HDD> either a Canon OEM part or similar to what u removed>
the iRXXXX-XXxx0011-HDFormat.ift file is encrypted & not visible ,so u cannot Modify the HDD Descriptor
for other non-OEM HDD's
