3220 jams

recently took over an account with a 3220-added a fin n1.
Jams every page at the vertical delivery. Some pages will make to tray c,where it reverses.There the page jams when direction is changed. Some pages will jam into that assembly first pass after the fuser.

I think the vert assembly is the cause, any thing I can do to modify this assembly while I wait for one to arrive?
Which style should I order the new style or old. Any advice here would be appreciated!

0209-the paper will enter the open tray and jam right after reversal. Every sheet every time. Taken the assemblies out and reseated all contacts, no diff!

I think I've seen this before. It worked fine single sided and jams every time duplex. What fixed mine was one of the sensor flags had broken off. I couldn't see the broken end just the sensor end. I was manually pushing a piece of paper through and just didn't look right.
