Hello i have changed the fixing film on this unit but i need to clear the error. Can anyone help me with information as to how to clear the error in service mode.

Reset

No service mode reset Power off and back on. If error persist double chech fixing unit and make sure you replaced the fixing film assys with the correct one.

code E007 is the film fixing error
SOLUTION
1. when u replacing the film make sure that you put some gears inside of the roller to let the film roller rotates
2. after puting some gears try to manually rotate the film you will observed that in the end of the film theres a white small rectangular the sensor detect that white considering that the film is rotating if the sensor cannot find the white rectangular it will have an error E007

about the clearing error Gerhard is right theres no clearing or reseting the code the only thing that you can do is to check again the film roller

Hi,
Try This

If E000 through E007 is indicated, the RAM on the image processor will
retain the error memory of the fixing assembly after the power switch has
been turned off an then on. Execute the following in service mode, and
turn off and then on the power switch to clear the memory: #7
PRINTER>#4 PRINTER RESET>YES=(*)

Make sure to replace the fixing film unit's green jam release lever ~~~~~~~~~~////
