If you performed a CCD adjust and it did not fail with a NG!, then your CCD is ok.
If your having registration problems with the copier that can't perform the auto gradation,
Then that would be the problem. If your PG6 is not uniform perfectly then that's going to be a issue.
I would suggest to attend to the registration issue first.

did u look to see if your lamp is staying on through the test scan ?

is the scanner moving forward ??

do u have an image pass on this machine/
if so have u tried a calibration from Firey/w Kodak Grey scale ?
yes lamp is ok and moving
the machine doesn't have image pass.

well, I've got experienced on this machine where as when checking the laser it says ok
but ends up being the the culprit, so I was just wondering if it's the same case with the
          CCD or Reader PCB.

          PG6 alignment is ok

(problem machine) auto gradation test print alignment compared with (ok machine) auto gradation test print is also ok.

          thanks again!

Your reader controller pcb maintains your ADJ-XY values.
If your CCD adjust did not fail, I would have to say at this point..
Try replacing the reader controller PCB. Keep us posted.

              have u tried to calibrate with either a 11x17 / & Ltr-r size

also what about that copyboard cover switch/sensor/that reads paper size for prints and auto gradation/ sends to CCD for original detection position

if u make copies off the glass/and did a CCD adjust/ your Reader n' CCD are ok

on pg 10 you can also see if there is a displacemant,if there are colors that overlap the other color or if there is a blank area between any of those color.and you can see it at the 1st testprint of the auto grad.each color should have aligned equaly at the leading edge.

                    quick update:

PG10 print is ok no displacement

do you mean, the original size sensor?
                    paper size detection ok.

I changed the reader controller PCB

                    but still same problem.

I can't concentrate on the machine too much.
still need to do a lot of orders.

I'll put it one side first but will still post the solution (hoping can still solve)
                    once I'm free.

                    thanks!
