ir6000 trouble

teckat an ir5000 can run at 60 cpm just like a 330 can run at 40 cpm . There are ways to do it ..........

thanks for info/ but but as a tech, i do not care about what a customer has to say about speed or cpm's/ or if they use a stop watch. once they complain about cpm's i give them Canon's # and call my sales person.

teckat: I have timed my machies and it prints a4 according to what canon says. I have timed right from 405 to 105+ only one i havent timed is a 3530 or somthing i got 2 days back

when u deal with companies that have 15/20 imageRunners -on one floor there are many things that can effect a copiers print speed when connected to a network/ not all networks are set up to optimize correctly/ as in hubs & switches

Have to take out main board, compare wire/jumper.

both ir5000/& 6000 have same main controller part #/ if fact both machines have all the same part numbers (go figure)

That is why I say jumper makes the treat.

IR 6000 trouble

if all parts have the same pn ;then jumper have nothing to do
eg... if i have 2 dc controller with same pn but some jumper are diff then no diff between them

thanks...i've already checked the serial and it was iR5000.

make sure u have correct firmware/ the ir5000d/6000d has different firmware than ir5000/6000

fyi....jumper wire can turn 2200 into 2800 or 3300.....probably same with 5000/6000

YES U are wright but then the p/n should be diff, that what I've learned from XEROX (from 1989 to 1999) my be canon uses same p/n withe both models with diffrentioation in model no. it self

need help....

why my ir6000 move slower. it moves only 50ppm for A4. when i check the counter button it shown iR5000d/iR6000.
is there something wrong with the machine?

Ever wonder why when you do a RAM clear that it defaults back to pre-registered values???There is a FACTORY service mode on Canons....different numerical combination to get into it.....this is where all the values that a machine defaults to when CLEARs are done are stored at...

Dcon default values are now burned into the mounted Flash Dimm/ on new type DC Controllers>u can not downgrade on them/ only on the old removable Flash Dimm Assmbys u could.

default values are just a starting point/ every Canon model has a starting default value/ that is why they tell u to print out data sheets after an install

manual and of course it is not there
