i mainly work on ricoh machines. this is the first time i have been ent out to a canon machine and its very rear that we sell them too.
customer has a print quality issue. the prints seem to fade on one side of the page. and its only about 2inches of the page wherre its slightly faded. one of the senior engineers diagnosed it and ordered a drum and a cleaning blade. i went out and replaced the parts that was ordered cleaned the charge roller, put it all back together and still the same. i had a feeling that i wasnt going to be what the previous engineer though it would be. i suspected that it might be the dev unit. what else do i need to check?
