    clc 4040 colour reg

    Hi guys.What are you replacing when the transfer belt is slipping a bit too often causing colour reg to go mad.

      Not sure exactly what the CLC-4040 is (looks like a c5180 in my google search) but I would replace the transfer belt, cleaning blade asssembly and any rubber drive rollers inside the itb assm.

          And the primary transfer rollers (4), there located on the ITB ass'y under the belt.
          And the secondary transfer roller, this is located almost right next to the fuser unit. It snaps in.

              Reg problems

              After replacing the belt and blade do an auto grad if this hasn't resolved the problem go into service mode level 2, function, clear, reg clear then come out of service ode and do Auto grad again this may take at lease 3 attempts.
