ir 2270 system settings password

i have a customer that has been pushing some buttons they shouldnt have. is there a way to get around a password set for the system settings? thanx

Go to service mode >function>PWD-CLR

Clearing the password of the system administrator set in user mode
The password is cleared when the OK key is pressed.

You need to note that the password will be cleared - as in if you are a user trying to get around restrictions, the system administrator will know. If you are a tech, the online training for this series covers this common issue - might want to run through it right quick.
