    [Error Code] iPRC7000VP E020-0281

    Dear All,

Any ideas on this error code? I was changed Drum unit, developing unit,LASER, ITB Drive motor.

The P-B-P-M at level 2 always show "0". What part will causing it?
Besides, it also paper jam 0110. Sometime the printout will be registration out. No leading edge.

Error Description: Lower limit error in light intensity on drum base (reflecting light intensity from
    the drum surface)
    * COPIER > Display > DENS > P-B-P-Y/M/C/K is less than 150.
Cause of occurrence (Highly possible): Soil on the ATR sensor [*1]
Cause of occurrence (Low possible): Faulty pressure for developing assembly
    Broken wire of ATR sensor
    Damaged ATR sensor
Malfunction of ATR patch detection shutter

Check the P-B-P-Y/M/C/K readings under COPIER > DISPLAY > DENS. Readings are typically between 300 - 650.

      imagePRESS 6000 / 6000VP / 7000VP Image Registration is Off

Check PS110 lead edge patch registration sensor. If you disconnect this sensor and the image registration comes back into specification, suspect a faulty PS110 lead edge patch sensor. When you disconnect this sensor, the ITOP signal from the yellow laser unit will be automatically used.
Also, check to see that there is a good gloss on the ITB belt for better reflectivity of the PS110 patch sensor.

NOTE* For the ITOP signal to be automatically used you must have version 71.02 installed.

        imagePRESS C6000 / C6000VP / C7000VP
Varying lead to trail registration on the imagePRESS C7000VP Series.

The lead to trail registration shifts during a multiple print run.

The ITB home position is determined by detecting the reflecting surface on the edge of the ITB with the ITB HP lower sensor (PS101) or the ITB upper sensor (PS102) as shown in the diagram below.

This is a white reflecting surface that resides on the rear underneath the ITB belt which obviously can get dirty in time. If this reflective surface is dirty, it can miscalculate the ITB home position and therefore affect the lead edge registration. Clean this reflective surface and the ITB home position sensor mentioned here.

I remember to solve this problem doing a DC-CON CLEAR on Copier>Function>Clear>Dc-Con and filling the values of the Service Label.
Notice if the Density values are close, and if the Laser values on ADJUST are the same of the label.
If the counter is large (in my case it was 1,5M), this probably will work.

              Hope I have helped.

                      5. Replace drum heater.
                      6. Replace drum surface temperature sensor.

                      Display-Analog-DR-TMP-Y,M,C,K.

Remove the Yellow Drum to check the Drum Heater Contacts.
Make sure they are not completely missing. The heater comes installed on the drum from the factory.

If the Drum Heater Switch is bad, or the cover is not attached to engage the switch, the Error will be displayed.

Inspect and replace any blown fuses (part number VD7-2892-001) on the Environmental Drum Heater Driver PCB.

Inspect the wire harness of the Yellow Processing Unit /make sure it's not pinched wire under a wire tie.
This is the wire harness leading from the rear connector to the Process Unit Driver PCB (Y).

Check all connectors on the DC controllers and cut all wire ties on the AC wire harnesses and DC wire harnesses.

The correct part number for all 4 (Y,M,C,BK) Drum Patch Sensor is FK2-3168-000

after replacing the Drum Patch Sensor

                          1. Enter the value on the label attached to the drum patch sensor (COPIER > ADJUST > DENS > ALF-Y/M/C/K)

                          2. Execute forcible warm-up rotation mode (COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > INTR-EX)
