[Misc] IR7105 Prints Random passages of text backwards i.e. like mirror writing!

We have an Ir7105 that intermittently prints lines of text backwards, like mirror writing.
Maybe 2 pages out of 500.
It has a Fiery S2 and the prints are generated from a Mac.
    Any suggestions?

The laser assembly has been known to do some strange things like this...

this model has had laser issues from day one and one of the main issues was the images printing reversed.

I'm shocked that Canon let this issue slide through...they should have just issued a copier recall and replaced them all. All across the board with their product lines they're getting more and more towards junk. How unfortunate, they should have never strayed from their formula that made them such a unique and highly reputable company. I even remember back in college studying the Canon culture and how it encouraged teamwork and innovation. I think maybe they're starting to cut corners to make things cheaper and cheaper while maintaining profit levels.

It happens everywhere anymore, cars, copiers, even food. Hershey is just down the road from us and the solidified sh*t they call chocolate used to be mediocre at best, but they've redeveloped the formula to make it last up to two, yes TWO years on the shelf. Some of the best chocolates in the world I have ever had have a shelf life of about two weeks tops...no comparison.

In short, it's most likely Canon's fault, take no crap, and make them fix it on their dime.

                  Good luck!

Sad but True> Big Industry will always find shortcuts to save money.

Hershy's has been trying to change the labeling laws so they can call their abomination "chocolate" but so far hasn't been successful.

Real chocolate has Cocoa Butter/ they use cheap vegetable oil .
Their products now say "chocolate flavored" "chocolatey"
                    or "chocolate candy"
see link if anyone is not from PA,USA
                    Chocoholics sour on new Hershey

Chocolate Town only exist for the tourist trade
                    .

Tourism yes...although I really don't see what the big hype is all about. Hershey Park is pretty big but it's now about $10 to park, $50 for adults, and $35 for kids to enter...all food and drinks inside is very expensive of course, and the typical wait on a ride is 2+ hours...completely a waste of time and money.
