    canon NP7161

    good day,the canonNP7161 is displaying error code E220 i need help thanks.

      If I remember it should be scanning lamp.

          open top cover/ put a white piece of paper on glass /keep cover up/
          hit print key/ see if lamp comes on

          are u a tech ??

              causes for the E220 as being (faulty) Scan Lamp, Composite Power Supply and DC Controller. Other causes include the Scan Lamp Heater being in the wrong position covering the Light Sensor PCB. Check and make sure the cut out in the heater is positioned above the Light Sensor PCB, if it is, replace the Light Sensor PCB
              Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
