    [Jamming] Canon Ir2230 mysterious paperjam

    Hi Guys!
At my client I've got a mysterious paperjam in a Canon IR2230. It has a paperjam at the fixing every morning, just the first sheet, then the paperjam is cleared the following prints and copies will be fine. After 4hours standby mode maybe it happens again but not very usual, only at the first printing in the morning ( when the client starts to work).
Tha paper gets jammed in the fixing when the leading edge came out 4-5 cm ( 2 inch) and the finally part of the paper 5 cm ( 2,2") isn't in the paper.
The fixing film is fine ( new), the fixing roller already replaced alse the registration sensor, I've already installed a casette heating kit in the machine, which works fine the paper is just well dried.
What do you think what can be the problem? Has someone ever met with this problem?
I appreciate any idea what would help.
    Thank you in advance!
    Best regards,
    Norbert

How many copies do you have?
Do you have problems only with duplex print?

The machine has cca 120.000 and it can be jammed with one sided copies, not neccesary to be duplex.

Do you check the rubber under the FLAPPER, FIXING DELIVERY REV.
After time occurs sticky and made issues.Pull off the rubber and report.

Zoraldinho is right but I would replace those dampers. PN FC5-0693-000. I replace them on a regular basis. Order a bunch. They're cheap

Hello zoraldinho, thanks a lot for sharing this input.
It helped me solving my issues with "only first copy jam".
The image you attached helped a lot, its spot-on!

If you were here I'd have a beer with you.
                        Thanks again mate!

When the paper comes out with Z-Fold / Accordion / 3 Fold and jams after several copies with error 0108 Delay in PS14, it means that the fuser film is not rolling with the pressure roller.
