installed a 4570 yesterday installed scangear tool 2.21 and paperport 9 scangear discovers the scanner and says it is available for scanning i open paperport and in the driver drop down i get a message that says "the necessary files may be missing" any ideas?

never used the paperport software. Are you turning the scanner online when attempting to use it?

Have you uninstalled the paperport software and reinstalled it?

i used 'xnview' and it seems ok.
