4570 always displays the message " the scanning area is dirty"

    [Misc] 4570 always displays the message " the scanning area is dirty"

    everytime i scan my works through ADF, the machine displayed the message " the scanning area is dirty ". i went to additional function in common setting to turn off the menu "Cleaning Display for the original scanning area " but help nothing. How can i do?

    Clean the small glass and the white roller on the ADF

      Go to service mode>copier>option>Body>DFDST-L1 and DFDST-L2, decrease the value.

        Take the setting down to a 1 on both of these.
        Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

          Also in COP>OPT>BODY set DF-BLINE to "1",then reboot the machine. This will turn off edge emphasis in image processing when using adf and reduce incidents of lines.
