[CQ] Canon pc 940 exposure adjust

Cleaned optics and copies are still a little dirty. Is there a pot on a circuit board to sdjust exposure?
    Thanks.

    do u mean spots ?- background ?
does the problem move on paper when printing ?

    post a pic

It has 6 mirrors that send the image to the drum unit. Also, do the marks move up and down the page? Also, have you replaced the drum cartridge recently? Pull the drum unit out and inspect the drum it self. Check the fixing ass'y. Try to use a dry rag and wipe up any loose toner in the paper path then try to run some blank pages in the copier this may clear up the problem...
