    Image Combination Doubt...

On the Display itself on selecting the option which says "SPECIAL FEATURES" we get another option named "IMAGE COMBINATION"... it gives ability to print 2 or 4 or 8 Images on one single side of a printer, (This is helpful in case u need to print certain pages of a small book into a single page to avoid flipping the pages again & again)...

I would like to ask... in that... we have the following Options...

    2 on 1
    4 on 1
    8 on 1
    ...............
Is there any possibility... or any setting in Service Mode or anywhere... through which we can even add more number of pages in this particular Module..

    For Eg:
    12 on 1
    16 on 1
    ............... etc...

    SPECIAL FEATURES---> IMAGE COMBINATION--->SELECT ORIGINAL SIZE (A6)----> 2 on 1 / 4 on 1 / 8 on 1......

Please check this out if possible guys... it would be really helpful...

This is it / nothing more

    2 On 1

This setting reduces two 1-sided originals or one 2-sided original to fit onto one side or both sides of one sheet of paper.
    4 On 1
This setting reduces four 1-sided or two 2-sided originals to fit onto one side or both sides of one sheet of paper.
    ■ 8 On 1
This setting reduces eight 1-sided or four 2-sided originals to fit onto one side or both sides of one sheet of paper.

Come on, teckat. Why can't you write some new system software, and create some new keyboard functions?

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

ok it means it can't get above 8 on 1.

            But 2 more questions.
            1) Does it give Back to Back Output in Image Combinations?... does the Back to Back Print come alligned to the one in front.???

            2) Can it take copies from ADF & reduce it for Image Combination?

NO/ next time post the machine you are working on/
also u need to get a copy of your machines Copy/Mail Box Manual

Image Combination mode enables you to automatically reduce two, four, or eight originals, as well as two-sided originals or the facing pages of a book, to fit onto one side or both
sides of a selected paper (record) size.
              • Originals copied/scanned in the Image Combination mode must all be the same size. You
cannot use the Image Combination mode with the Different Size Originals mode.
              • For the Copy function, you can change or specify the number of copies or 2-Sided
Original mode before scanning the next batch of originals (i.e., between batches).
              • For the Mail Box function, you can change or specify the 2-Sided Original mode before
scanning the next batch of originals (i.e., between batches)
The reduction ratio is automatically set so that the originals fit onto the selected paper (record) size.
