Make sure the foam roller in the vertical path is engaging and disengaging when you open the upper door, just had one with similar symptoms and it turned out to be one of the springs that applies pressure on the foam roller had popped off, worth a shot.

Currently ive changed whole unit 1 with spare one. I think it has something to do with what mrfixit51 stated. I check the sensor which seems to be ok.

So, why can't you swap the unit 2 as well if you have got the facility?

Or else, check these items from the parts catalogue:
CL16; CL17 and roller no. 46 of the duplexing unit

Problem solved for the some delay on fotocopy.

Its turn out that worm gear on M3 was worn out. So I replaced the whole motor with new one and problem solved.
May I know if the gear itself can be replace without replacing the whole motor unit?

Just cannot get some idea that how does M3 fixing motor can cause jam code 0109?

I got a machine of IR7200 and it keep giving me a jam code 0109 (Delay on pre-registration jam) on every first copy. it only happen when using cassette 3 and 4, A4R and A3. Cassette 1 and 2 working fine all the time. We changed registration clutch and changed whole cassette unit 3 and 4, the problem still the same. Sponge roller working find.

Fixing motor has nothing to do with 0109 jams. Did you clean the clutch assembly at rear of machine(for vertical rollers,pre -reg,etc). Clean them out with alcohol or replace them

It jam before upper roller and after registration roller for A4R cassette 4
For A3 it jam before upper roller and came out half from registration roller on single copy for cassette 3

Additionally i changed sponge roller at side door because it became very soft and nothing change for jam code 0109
