Hi I would like to know what these error codes mean? The machine is CLC3200.

This codes sometimes appear on the machine. What I usually do is just turn the machine off then on it again. But I don't want to do that anymore for the rest of my life ...
I want to know what causes this problem so that I can give solutions to this and won't appear on the machine anymore. Thank you very much.

Does anyone happen to know what does it mean!?

did u remove or disconnect the card reader ??????????????????

E719 Error When Removing The Card Reader D1
When removing a Card Reader Unit D1 from the copier permanently an error code of E719 sub code 0011 is generated and won't clear, either by power cycling the machine or by performing an error clear.

Solution :
Once the Control Card unit D1 is installed it becomes part of the basic hardware configuration of the machine, the E719 sub code 0011 is generated because the machine is expecting the see the card reader at power on.. If you intend to permanently remove the card reader, for any reason, you will need to perform an MN-CON Clear to remove the card reader from the configuration. Use the following service mode:
Copier/Function/Clear/MN-CON, Highlight MN-CON, Press OK. The machine will power cycle itself and will take an extra couple of minutes for the display to come up. When the red display says to turn the main power off and on again do so.

E602-0425 / looks like a hard drive partition error=
04xx-The partition FSTPDEV is faulty.=(Storage of image data)
xx25=packet R/W file operation, HD controller
IC error


try this>HD-Check=performs a scandisk similar to that available in Windows and can be executed while powering on the unit.
To execute this function, power off printer>hold down the '1' and '9' keys on the keypad and power on the imageRUNNER. Keep pressing '1' and '9' for approximately 6 to 8 seconds until a flashing light appears on the upper left corner of the control panel.
HD-Check will last about 15 to 20 minutes until the dark blue, blank screen changes to a light blue, blank screen. 'HDCheck' ends if no fault is encountered or specific sectors have automatically been repaired, bringing up the Download Mode screen. At times, a sector error occurring when the power is turned off while data is being written to the HDD-

u will see small white blocks dropping on screen during the check/ if when finished and u see DOWNLOAD MODE screen/ u may get lucky> go and power off/on printer in normal way/
if error returns>u can try to format the HDD with the SST & re-load the Printers Firmware/ if that wont work u may need a new Hard Drive-

FSTPDEV- that partition can be formated using SST/ but u will need SST & Printer Firmware, and some knowledge on how to perform this using SST-

SST is a Canon Support Tool program that stores Firmware for Canon Printers.

Sure learn from this one also, have come across this issue once or twice and in both cases managed to solve the error without knowing the broken tabs on the drum.

I have crossover Ethernet cable but I can`t connect with machine In options SST are only 2 option: 1) com port or 2) USB interface. SST version 3.11

**My advise is to get the latest SST VER. & LATEST iR3200 FIRMWARE


How To Install/Upgrade Firmware/ for the Older versions of SSTProcedure:

1. Start up the PC.
2. Check to be sure that the network settings as follows:

IP address: 172.16.1.10

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: 172.16.1.1

1. Turn off the machine’s power switch.
2. Connect the machine and the PC with a cross cable.
3. While holding down the 2 and 8 keys of the keypad on the copier’s control panel at the same time, turn on the main power switch (so that the copier will start in download mode within safe mode).
4. Start up the SST.
5. Note: If the HDD has been replaced or the HDD needed to be corrected, then first FORMAT it.
   
6. Download Boot (only if HDD is new or upgrading firmware).
7. Turn off the machine’s power switch.
8. While holding down the 2 and 8 keys of the keypad on the copier’s control panel at the same time, turn on the main power switch (so that the copier will start in download mode within safe mode).
9. Download System.
10. Download Language.
11. Download RUI.
12. Turn off the machine’s power switch.
13. While holding down the 1 and 7 keys of the keypad of the copier’s control panel, turn on the main power switch.
14. Note: If you start up the machine by pressing 1 and 7, the machine indicates ‘FIXIP’ in the upper right of the LCD to distinguish its state from normal.’
15. Make the following selections in service mode:

COPIER > FUNCTION > SYSTEM > DOWNLOAD (download mode).

1. Download MEAPCONT (if option available).
2. Download G3 Fax (if option available).
3. Download DCCON.
4. Turn off the machine’s power switch.
5. While holding down the 1 and 7 keys of the keypad of the copier’s control panel, turn on the main power switch.
6. Make the following selections in service mode:
7. COPIER > FUNCTION > SYSTEM > DOWNLOAD (download mode).
8. Download RCON.
9. Turn OFF/ON the machine’s power switch.

Note: After installing the Firmware check the User Mode settings, the Operation and Image Quality and the Machine Specifications Settings.

there are no dip switches involved/ + u need a crossover-cable
A crossover cable directly connects two network devices of the same type to each other over Ethernet

if u have the SST loaded on laptop/ look for SST Manual in folder/
example shown below>>>

Compared to standard Ethernet cables, the internal wiring of Ethernet crossover cables reverses the transmit and receive signals. The reversed color-coded wires can be seen through the RJ-45 connectors at each end of the cable:

• Standard cables have an identical sequence of colored wires on each end
• Crossover cables have the 1st and 3rd wires (counting from left to right) crossed, and the 2nd and 6th wires crossed
