AC adapter ?????
Before replacement of the logic board ass'y, check the waste ink amount (by service test print or EEPROM information print). If the waste ink amount is 7% or more, also replace the bottom case unit -or the ink absorbers-when replacing the logic board ass'y.
Bottom case unit/Ink absorber-After replacement:
1. Reset the waste ink counter
After replacement:
1. Initialize the EEPROM.
2. Reset the waste ink counter.
3. Set the destination in the EEPROM.
4. Set the LCD viewer language.
5. Correct the CD-R and automatic print head alignment sensors.
6. Perform the print head alignment in the user mode.
Operation check:
EEPROM information print
- Service test print
- Printing via parallel or USB
connection
- Direct printing from a digital camera
- Direct printing from a memory card
- Print Beam printing**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -

Thanks Teckat. I have the manual and tried the procedure for initializing eeprom but machine didn't respond. Iwas hoping I might get something not in manual that would help. FrankComment
