Any of the following is true in the image processing by the main controller:
    # The image data has a fault
    # The encoding/decoding operation for image data has a fault
    # The image processing element of the main controller PCB has a fault

The troubleshooting guide in the Service Manual lists the Main Controller or the Hard Drive Unit as possible causes of the problem. If that doesn't fix the problem, another possible cause may be the Ram on the Main Controller.

If you have a sub-code to pass along that would be helpful in narrowing down the possible causes to your issue.

              Sub-Code is

First clean and re-seat the DRAM on the Main Controller pcb.

Then power up the copier holding down the 1 and 9 keys to perform a Hard Disk Drive defrag / scan disk operation. ( This will take 20 to 30 minutes to perform the operation.)
