IR 3320i slow in different sized originals

My customer upgraded from a IR 330 to a 3320i with Universal Send. He has been doing mixed originals LTR and lgl forever. Now on the 3320i is is so slow. It is almost like the paper is being drown thru the doc feeder twice like it is doing a two sided scan.

I checked the setting to make sure it was NOT set to two sides.

Any ideas? It takes over 15 minutes for a legal pack.

    TIA

Thanks teckat, your knowledge is impresive.

I did go to the feeder area and the setting was 0 and changed to 1.

The machine was set to 1 for inch size and I had to change the scanseclt from 0 to 1.

There was no change. It clearly pulls the first sheet thru and just when it gets ready to deliver it on the doc feeder catch area it reverses and pulls it back thru. I have assured myself that no two sided setting have been set. And rebooted copier after settings where changed.

think your model setting is in Level 1
or check Setting in Service Mode..LEVEL 2

Sorry, set this back to "0"
        SERVICE MODE>COPIER>OPTIONS>BODY
        >LEVEL 1/or 2>SCANSLCT to "0"

This should change the scanning from a double scan to a single pass when using large size originals ( Legal/Ledger).

Using Different size Originals Mode 0: OFF (Determining the scan area by document detection)

1: ON (Determining scan area by paper size)
If the setting is "1" the feeder will scan the original twice. Set to "0" for single scanning.

Letter paper is scanned only once-
