    [Misc] iR3035 (3045, 3030, 3025)

I am a very new technician (only a few months in the field) and i am very soon going to be responsible for a very large number of canon machines.

Of this very large number of canon machines are twenty-one iR3035s. I do not have a service manual, parts catalogue or TRG for this machine. Because i have not been trained on this specific machine, i do not have any resources that i can access on the canon website (service manual, parts catalogue). On the canonextra website i am unable to find the appropriate TRG part number to order for the iR3035.

To summarize, i am about to take over maintenance, break/ fix operations for twenty-one Canon iR3035s and i have absolutely no resources available to me.

If ANYBODY has ANYTHING that might help me out, could you please PM me with some details? You would be a lifesaver.

    Thanks.

sorry looks like i posted this in the wrong forum... i didn't realize that there was a "serivice manual request forum"

maybe a mod can move this to the appropriate place.

    thanks,
I will pay more attention next time!

i already have to order a bunch of parts for these machines and i still have no idea which parts catalogue to reference for this.

are most of the 3035 durables and consumables interchangeable with the 3570 series? Drum Unit? Transfer Roller? Developing Cylinder? Fixing film unit? ADF components?

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              Looking for a part number:

              3035
              DC Controller PCB Assembly

The part number i have is for the 3570 series of machine... is the DC Controller PCB Assembly interchangeable for these machines?

If your boss expects you to fix these machines he'd best be investing in a service manual for you. How are you going to source parts?

There are manuals specific to this machine however my manuals or SG gives no part numbers I can find. I am sure the manuals to go guy can get them for you. The main thing is make sure you do the tech update for the lower door to reduce paper jams. Also watch for toner leakage around the developer drop to the drum unit. The S-1 internal finisher has some tray lift issues as well. I don't have the tech pubs for the corrections on these problems but if you have access to Canon's e-support site you will find these tech pubs there. Make sure to use OEM drums toner matter of fact the only non-OEM part I use in that model is a refurbished fuser unit get from TSA world. Good luck.

They're pretty similar. As long as you have the proper parts catalog most of the troubleshooting, jam codes and error codes are the same.

I'll confirm that. The 3045/3030/3025 is a supplement to the iR3570 manual. There are few differences. =^..^=
