[Error Code] Canon IRADVC5045 E0003-000E

I will attend IRADVC5045 with error code E0003-000E on Monday. Just wondering if its actually a faulty fx heater that will require fixing film to be changed. Any known fix for this error would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Try re-seating the Fixing Unit, or cleaning /inspecting the Fixing Drawer connector from small pieces of paper

Problem solved. It was the fixing film unit.

However I noted that the MFD throws up E575 when stapling. The gripper does not fully eject the sets of paper suggesting a break in gripper rail. I will get a new one together with gripper assy and update firmware, hopefully this will resolve the problem. Any known fix welcome.

Will be the rail itself more than likely. I have only had to replace a few gripper assemblies themselves. ( other than replacing EVERY single one I have for the "new" type some time ago )

For the E575 error code: CanonCo was right, it was the gripper rail which was broken into two. Replaced same and updated firmware ok. Thanks to all.
