Dear friends can any one send me the part number for canon mf9170 ccd/ cis part number. Because i have no part catlog for this model. If any one give me the part catlog , i am very thankfull.

CIS is NPN I believe.Need reader assy.
Points to note when replacing the reader assembly
The PASCAL value of the reader assembly [1] will be changed due to the production shift to the next model (MF9220
series). Therefore, the compatibility will be lost between the next model and the old type reader assembly.

Servicing Work:
When the reader assembly is replaced with the new type one [1], the PASCAL value of the machine should be adjusted.
<How to adjust PASCAL>
1. Write down each value of OFST-P-Y/OFST-P-M/OFST-P-C/OFST-P-K displayed in Service Mode > COPIER >
ADJUST > PASCAL.
2. Subtract the following numerical values from each written-down value and set the obtained value.
OFST-P-Y > 3
OFST-P-M > 4
OFST-P-C > 5
OFST-P-K > 0
3. When the setting has been changed, press "OK" key to reflect the change.
4. Press "Back" key to end Service Mode.
